[Update] HELLO! It's been quite a few days since I have updated. TEH WoW has taken hold of me, twisted my soul around into a small sprial and rang all of it's energy into the toilet, pee'd all over it, then flushed it with a smile. It's EVIL! I really have no news anyway... I'm still confused on when the meeting is gonna be, and you'd think i'd know... Be here the 9th and the 16th and see, like russian roulette haha. Or just hold two meetings.

I may go with the 9th and here's why... We can hold the meeting and then for those who missed it, can goto the forums, get the .mp3, listen... and comment as they listen... I then I back and read that and put it into my notes. So really even if you can't be there for the "live" version you can still respond... Of course I do want people to be there though, it will help motivate us and give more input right then and there. Lets say the 9th... RL friends don't matter, or if i'm forced, i'll have mr. Schmitter's or Homer to run the show for the night.

Small update for the paypal, we have $46.08 which will definitely cover the webserver and the gameservers are paid for until Feb. 8th. Continue to donate if you can but at the moment we aren't in too much of a bind.

I'm very consumed and focussed in on life but I hope bT is going the way I dream it is. I haven't heard anything negative so I can only assume everthing is a-okay! From what i've seen you all have been doing absolutely great, the only thing I would personally like to see more, are the servers being filled alittle more often (which will be covered in the meeting). Other then that you get two-thumbs up from me! Keep up the great work everyone.

[Update] Small update, we just paid for the servers and we have $21.08 in our paypal account. The game servers are due every month on the 8th, the webserver i'm not sure about price or date. Now it's a new year AND a new month... Donations anyone? lol. Remember $5 from like 40 people is $200, we can do it! Plus the more money we have, the more possibility for a new server.

[Akira] Happy new year everyone! Hope you all had a good night, hopefully no one woke up with too bad of a hangover. For anyone under 21, alcohol is the devil and is evil... but so delicious.

So we kick off a new year filled with possibilities as we get past 2008 and charge full force into 2009. Hopefully the first meeting of the year can clear up any issues we have so that we can have a fun and peaceful year. The date will either be January 9th or January 16th, on the forums is a global poll to vote for a day. Do that ASAP because we all need to know! As of right now the vote is leaning to the 16th, but the more votes the better.

I had to work for the drinking game but the stats on GameTracker says we had the server going for about 11 hours. That's pretty god damn impressive right there! It was sad that not many people were on for the DG but I should have realized... New Years Eve is a social night usually spent with multiple people around you. It was still fun and some of us still got drunk! And isn't that the purpose of the night? hehehe.

I have temporarily disabled RTD from the TF2 server to see what will happen. I am going to put up a poll on the forums to put it to a vote! I actually will do that tomorrow... My headache isn't getting better and I should head upstairs. Have a good beginning to the new year and don't forget to make a resolution that you will end up giving up on within a month, haha.

[Akira] Oh new years eve, that great time where we as humans decided hey... Lets drink and pass out, and start out the new year with the ugly chick next to me as I wake up with a hangover... Wait that was my experiences.. Ya no it wasn't, I usually wake up with my hand down my pants weeping softly... ANYWAY.

So tonight is a night where we will (for the first time) be doing a drinking game to bring in the new year. It will probably be taken place in TF2, but the L4D drinking game is also available! Here is how to play both:

• If you are killed by a non-DG player - Take a small drink.
• If you are killed by a DG player - Take a mouthful.
• If you are DOMINATED by a DG player - Finish your drink.

• Infected
  • If you are killed Take a drink
  • for every survivor that makes it to the safe room safely take a drink. Ex all 4 survivors 4 drinks.
  • If any survivors live thru finale and get on the chopper Finish your drink.
• Survivors
  • If your incapacitated take a drink
  • If you die take 2 drinks
  • Pray to god you don't suck as infected

There you go. Now get your alcohol (if you are of age) and let us drink the new years in. I will be sporting champagne to be mr. fancy pants, oh yes... Pinky out. Let me talk about the community meeting for a second. On the forums is a global poll for the meeting. Do we hold it January 9th as I've been saying? Or do we push it back a week, OR what is a best day for you? You can even vote for the 9th or 16th but still put a better day if you so wish. We need this info ASAP. I just do not know who plans for the meetings, or if anyone does. So here is your time for a quick vote on when to hold it.

[Schmitty] Hello Hello. It has been quite awhile since I have made a post, but I am worth the wait, amirite? No? Illusions of Grandeur? Damn. Anywho, I hope you all enjoyed your holiday, getting bountiful amounts of computer parts and cash I hope. As much as I would love to yammer on about the holidays, there is news to be done!

As Monday comes to a close, we are inching forever closer to the New Year. We all have our resolutions, and most of us do not pull through, but let us make some together that we can follow, shall we? The Community Meeting is coming up in the following weeks, and we want to strive for resolution. Resolution of our faults, and resolute our strengths. We all appreciate the effort by every single one of you, as you all have shared in our enthusiasm and make this community possible to begin with. WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT A GOOD TIME AND DATE IS We don't believe we will find a way to include everybody, but we want to make sure the set time and date is appropriated for maximum attendance. If you have any concerns about what should be held about the meeting, please contact Akira, Homer, or myself so that we may work your input into the meeting. All of your opinions matter, and we want to make sure we can cover most, if not all the concerns that we can.

For those who did not notice the big, flashy banners in Steam; HUGE SALES ARE GOING ON. I picked up BioShock for $5.00 yesterday, and I suggest you do the same if you have not already. There are games and bundles marked down 10-90%, so if you have any of that Holiday money burning a hole in your pocket I suggest you go and stock up on games before the sale ends. After all, you could get Left 4 Dead for just under $35.00! Don't miss out guys. Speaking of funds, if you have that spare cash and decided you are content with your game stockpile, Perhaps a donation to your community wouldn't be a bad idea. We have a small reserve in the paypal still, but that will not last forever. If I could support this community out of my own pocket I would, but I only work part-time at minimum wage, which doesn't pay the bills. We are not demanding any donation, but every single dollar helps towards our cause. Five Dollars from 40 members is a nice chunk of change, and that multitude of small but generous offers can keep us up and running for a great deal of time. So, I implore to donate to the community if you can afford it. Help us, Help You.
