Blue Turret is simply a community. We are not a clan that demands you to come on at a certain time, we are a community of people that play games and have fun. Through the years some of us have felt a bond, like a family feeling between us all. We are not a team to play games with, we are friends, we are family, we are Blue Turret.

The story behind Blue Turret is only known to a handful of people... Until now! I (Akira) am here to explain how Blue Turret came to be as it is today. Many people have asked me ever since Blue Turret came alive... "How was this started?", "What is UA?", "Why, \'Blue Turret\'?", "Who and why was TheJackal so bad?". I never had time to answer these in full... but by reading on you will learn this, and much, much more!

Our historic story begins with a man named Akira (that\'s me!). I had been playing the game Multi Theft Auto and kept ending up in the UA server. One of the members named "UA*Fire" (at the time) was a really cool guy and a really good admin, player of the game and server. After going in there so many times they allowed me to try out, so I took the opportunity! I had a nice 2-3 hour tryout, where I was able to dominate all (I think even the leader) the competition. They rushed me into their teamspeak and from there we go!

I hung out with them everyday and met a whole bunch of people. I quickly became an admin and a very important person to Team UA. Unfortunately I also noticed alot of things wrong... The leader (TheJackal) was... deceptive... I was with UA for a few months and in that time I could tell that he brainwashed everyone there (even me). I pointed out this problem and many more. The leader was basically just a dick... you did things his way or you were gone. He ended up removing alot of features in the teamspeak because they were "flawed", it was ridiculous. He even suckered us into giving him money for a fake server! With all these problems he even got sucked into RPG games and stopped paying attention to the rest of the clan. RYL and WoW sucked him in and the servers would never go back up if they crashed, team meetings were cancelled, it just fell apart. Everyone around me started to realize what I was saying was true, so we started to rebel.

We kept up a good fight for a good while. After we finally figured out that the leader was indeed using hacks in games, we all got fed up, it was the last straw. Nevet and I discussed it one night and decided we should make our own clan. We passed the idea onto a few other people and it started to grow more and more. We started to use a server in Ventrillo so that no one could hear us during secret meetings. We finally were about 10 people strong when the event to spark Blue Turret happened.

The co-leader (X) finally ended up leaving because TheJackal borrowed alot of money from him in a game... and refused to give it back. X kept asking for it and finally TheJackal told him, "If you keep asking your not going to be around here much longer" so he left... Then his cousin Gibbles left... We finally found our chance... Nevet left, then I left, then a domino effect happened that night and half of UA left. The following week we kept a few people in UA servers to give people an alternative to UA, some came, some stayed. Finally UA collapsed onto itself, losing all admins and then soon after, it\'s members. A lot of people found Blue Turret to be the better alternative, others found better clans while a handful just gave up on games after what they were put through.

After UA collapsed (or was hanging from it\'s final strings) the leader kept threatening to sue me (Akira) for something, like damage to his servers or something. I never did anything and he had no case, after a week or two of this "war" things finally calmed down. UA had collapsed and the leader "TheJackal" tried to rebuild by chaging "Urban Assassins" into "Ultimate Assassins" and making it for World of Warcraft. His attempt failed (which i\'m not saying i\'m happy about) and it\'s said that he\'s basically given up on gaming (though he still plays World of Warcraft).

We went a few weeks without a name and finally I just used Blue Turret (which was originally going to be a site for gaming reviews, but went under just before). We were around before November 27th, 2004 but the official release of Blue Turret was upon that day. Our name is unique and so is our style and our members, so the name actually ended up fitting perfectly!

For awhile Blue Turret had about 10-15 regular visitors and we still had a few haters from UA, but all that has seemed to have died out. Some members left for other opportunities while some have stayed with us through the good and bad. We finally started to grow when we found "FaTaL-ShoT" whom we found playing "The Specialists" one day. He brought us some of "Lethal Precision" and we gave him a teamspeak server. He was the spark that hit us off and got us more and more people, after that we started getting publicity from Schmitt and Spoon and got some of their friends! We still continue to recieve support from Schmitt and Spoon and random people outside of Blue Turret. Fatal-ShoT has somewhat dissapeared in the past months but our dream still lives on... A place to come where you can just go to have fun! Be free, play games, and have a few laughs along the way.

We have all seen the good and bad in the walls of Blue Turret but the hardcore members still remain, here to help rebuild what breaks down, here to help with any helping hand they can. Our videos still bring laughter and our audio adds entertainment to the ears. Our ever-growing map section supplies visitors with their needs! Our comics and newer sections add a subtle smile to any face, and that is what is important. May you be in the Blue Turret family or may you be a visitor, we\'re all in the gaming world together, so why not enjoy it? And that my friend... is how Blue Turret was started... A corrupt leader, a simple idea... and alot of dedicated people!

I would like to take the time to thank some of the people that have kept us going. Without these people, Blue Turret could have died out by now, and we could be no more. No matter the times these members keep returning and use all their power to rebuild the walls of this sacred community... So stand up... clap your hands, and may I personally thank:
