This page lists the rules and guidelines inside of the Blue Turret Community. We never wanted to have any rules but that caused chaos. The basic principle behind the rules are to be nice to the gaming community as a whole. Don't hack and don't be rule or cruel, that is pretty much the basics of this page.
Code of Conduct
Blue Turret is all about being nice to the entire gaming community. We are all gamers, so why ruin the gaming experience for eachother? These guidelines are most important inside the walls of Blue Turret! We will not allow the following:
- RACISM - Including racist "codewords"
- Discrimination
- Verbal Abuse
No Illegal Activity
The following rules are not to be broken under any circumstance. Any illegal activity will result in severe consequences.
- Hacking in game (See hacking below for more information)
- Hacking a server / website
- Botting TS / Ventrilo
- Overthrowing TS / Ventrilo
No Hacking Policy
Hacking inside a game is considered tolerable unless one of the following rules are broken.
- Any Blue Turret tags on
- bT member(s) present in game
- Inside Blue Turret or Blue Turret allied server
(Note: Blue Turret does not agree with hacking / exploting inside of any game in anyway. We only allow hacking inside a game because we do not "control" our members.)
Exploits and misc: If caught using an exploit, trainer, or anything to give you an upper-hand on an opponent will be dealt with as a "hack". The guidelines do not bend for any "unfair advantage" other then that of practice, talent, and legitimacy.
Supplying hacks: We do not allow the sending of hacks, links to hacks / exploits, or explainations for exploits.
Recruiting Members Policy
While the Blue Turret community is only a community, anyone found "recruiting" members or getting someone to another teamspeak, ventrillo or any other clan / community based setting will immediately be banished from the Blue Turret Community. Breaking the following rules will fall under this strict policy:
- Recruiting any Blue Turret member(s) / guest(s).
- Giving any member / guest an IP to a teamspeak / ventrillo server.
- Advertising other clan / communities.
- Bribing any member, guest, ally, sub-clan, guest-clan, etc.
(Note: Breaking this rule in any shape or form will result in complete banishment from the community in a whole. Allies will be notified along with the leader of the given clan / community (if so needed). This rule also applies outside of the teamspeak/ Ventrilo / forum settings. Sending any form of the previously listed items will fall into this policy.)
Ventrilo Conduct
The Ventrilo is the main source of communication and conduct is extremely important. Each rule listed (including these and outstanding) are to be obeyed at all times.
- No spamming of any kind
- No offensive names
- No offensive comments
Channel Priority: If you are in a channel with a displayed game that you are participated in then you have the right to tell anyone annoying the channel to please be quiet.
If you are in a channel without a displayed game or are in the wrong channel then you have no right to ever tell anyone in the channel to be quiet.
The Council Rule
Council will uphold the status of a Council Member unless one of the follow actions occurs.
- Council Member "steps down" as council.
- A marjority vote of the Blue Turret community (Blue Turret only, not allies or friends of Blue Turret) to request the resignation of the affected Council Member. The majority vote must be voted upon by atleast 75% of the community before resignation can be put into effect. 60% of all collected votes must be against affected council member before resignation can be put into place. If less then 60% are against then the attempt to force resignation, then it is considered null and void.
